Description
Chomelia spinosa (also called spiny chomelia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant native to the Caribbean. It is a shrub growing to 2 m tall, with spiny branches and yellow flowers. It is found in dry forests, scrublands, and coastal areas, and is used in traditional Caribbean medicine.

Chomelia spinosa has small, white flowers with yellow anthers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are slender and upright with long, narrow leaves.
