Chomelia ribesioides (also called Ribesioides Cane, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Central America. It is a small, clumping bamboo with culms that can reach up to 2 m (6.6 ft) tall and 1 cm (0.4 in) in diameter. It is found in moist, sandy soils in bottomlands, swamps, and along streams and rivers.
