Chiococca nitida (also called Shiny Coralberry, among many other common names) is a shrub native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in disturbed areas. It has thick, leathery leaves and small, white flowers. It produces bright red berries in the summer.
