Description
Bertiera angusiana (also called Angus' Bertiera, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru. It is found in moist montane forests, often near streams, at elevations of 1000-3000 meters.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Bertiera angusiana is a white to yellowish-green color, and the petals are fused together. The seed is small, round and black in color. The seedlings are slender and have two leaves.

Bertiera angusiana is a tropical plant that prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Propagation is usually done by seed, but it can also be propagated by cuttings or division.
