Description
Alibertia occidentalis (also called Western Alibertia, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen shrub native to Central and South America. It has small, oval-shaped leaves and white flowers that bloom in the summer. It is found in moist, shady areas and is often used as a ground cover.

Alibertia occidentalis is native to Colombia and can be found in the departments of Antioquia, Bolívar, Cauca, Chocó, Córdoba, Huila, Magdalena, Nariño, Quindío, Risaralda, Santander, and Valle del Cauca.
