Rubus rufus (also called red raspberry, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Europe and North Africa. It has a spreading habit and grows up to 2 m tall. Its leaves are ovate and its flowers are white or pink. It is found in open woodlands, scrub and grasslands.
