Description
Rubus putneiensis (also called Putnei's Blackberry, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub in the rose family Rosaceae. It is native to the United States, where it is found in the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. It typically grows in open forests, woodlands, and meadows.

Flower: White flowers with five petals. Seed: Small, dark brown, oval-shaped. Seedlings: Oval-shaped leaves with serrated edges.
Cultivation and Propagation
Rubus putneiensis is a deciduous shrub that is easy to propagate from cuttings. Take cuttings in late summer or early autumn and plant them in a well-drained soil. Keep the soil moist and in a sheltered spot. The cuttings should root within a few weeks. Once the roots are established, transplant the cuttings to their permanent location.
