Description
Rubus decheni (also called 'Dechen's Bramble', among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub found in the Northern Hemisphere. It is a large, deciduous shrub with large, deeply lobed leaves and small, white flowers. It is native to Europe and Asia, and is commonly found in open, sunny habitats such as meadows, grasslands, and rocky hillsides.
Cultivation and Propagation
Rubus decheni is a perennial shrub that can be propagated through stem cuttings or division. To propagate through stem cuttings, cut a stem just below a node and remove the lower leaves. Place the cutting in a pot filled with moist soil and keep it in a warm, humid environment. To propagate through division, carefully separate the plant into two or more parts and replant each part in a separate pot. Water regularly and keep in a warm, humid environment.
