Rubus crespignyanus (also called Crespigny's raspberry, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub with white flowers and small, red fruits. It is native to China and grows in moist, shady forests and on mountain slopes.

Cultivation and Propagation

Rubus crespignyanus can be propagated from hardwood cuttings taken in autumn. The cuttings should be taken from the current season's growth and should be 10-15 cm long. Dip the cuttings in a rooting hormone and plant them in a potting mix of equal parts peat moss, perlite, and sand. Place the pot in a cool, bright spot and keep the soil moist.
