Description

Potentilla tephroserica (also called Tephroseris Cinquefoil, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the mountains of Central Asia. It has a creeping habit and grows to a height of 10-20 cm. It has a basal rosette of leaves that are divided into five leaflets. The flowers are yellow and have five petals. It grows in dry meadows, rocky slopes, and grassy areas.
