Description

Potentilla sterilis (also called Sterile Cinquefoil, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 0.5 m tall. It is native to eastern Europe and is found in meadows, grasslands, and along stream banks. Its leaves are pinnate, with serrate margins and densely pubescent. Its flowers are yellow, and its fruits are achenes.
