Description
Geum pentaphyllum (also called Five-Leaf Avens, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to the western United States. It grows up to 0.5 m tall and has palmately compound leaves with five leaflets. Its yellow flowers appear in the summer and are often used in ornamental gardens. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun.
