Fragaria viridis (also called Green Strawberry, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub that is native to Europe and Asia. It typically grows to 1-2 m in height and has alternate, pinnate leaves with three to five leaflets. It is found in woodlands, hedgerows, and grasslands.
