Description
Crataegus platycarpa (also called Broad-fruited Hawthorn, among many other common names) is a species of hawthorn native to Europe and western Asia. It is a deciduous shrub or small tree growing to 5–15 m tall, with a dense, thorny crown. It typically grows in dry, sunny habitats, such as rocky hillsides and open woodlands.
