Description
Cotoneaster simonsii (also called Simons' Cotoneaster, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the rose family, native to Europe and western Asia. It is a deciduous shrub growing to 1–2 m tall, with arching stems and small, glossy leaves. The flowers are white, produced in late spring and early summer. The fruit is a red pome, 1–2 cm diameter, ripening in late summer. It grows in woodland, scrub, and rocky habitats.

Cotoneaster simonsii has small, white flowers with five petals. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and covered in tiny hairs.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cotoneaster simonsii is a low-growing, evergreen shrub that is native to China. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is by cuttings in spring or by seed. Cuttings should be taken from semi-ripe wood in late summer or early autumn.
