Cotoneaster microphyllus (also called Small-Leaved Cotoneaster, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the rose family, native to China. It typically grows as a shrub or small tree, reaching heights of up to 5 m. It is found in forests, scrub, and rocky areas, at elevations of up to 2,400 m.
