Description
Cotoneaster luristanicus (also called the Luristan Cotoneaster, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub native to Central Asia. It has bright green leaves and clusters of small, white flowers in the spring, followed by bright red berries in the fall. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and is often found in woodlands, thickets, and along roadsides.

The flowers of Cotoneaster luristanicus are small and white, with five petals. The fruits are small, round, and red. The seedlings are small and have small, oval leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cotoneaster luristanicus is an evergreen shrub that can reach up to 2m in height. It prefers partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is best done through softwood cuttings taken in summer. It can also be propagated from seed, though germination can be slow and erratic.
