Cerasus syodoi is a deciduous shrub that can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in spring in a cold frame and the seedlings transplanted to their permanent positions in late summer or autumn. Cuttings of half-ripe wood, 5 - 8 cm with a heel, July/August in a frame.
