Description
Armeniaca zhengheensis (also called Zhenghe Apricot, among many other common names) is a species of apricot native to China. It is a deciduous tree growing to 15 m tall, with a trunk up to 50 cm diameter. Its leaves are oval, 7–12 cm long and 5–8 cm broad, with a serrated margin.
Uses & Benefits
Armeniaca zhengheensis is used for its edible fruits, ornamental value, and medicinal properties. The fruits are edible and can be eaten fresh or used to make jams and jellies. Cultivation and Propagation

Stored seed should be pre-soaked for 24 hours in warm water and then given 3 months cold stratification. It usually germinates in the spring. Cuttings can be taken in the summer. Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer, after the last expected frosts.
