Alchemilla atriuscula (also called Atriose Lady's Mantle, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Caucasus Mountains. It has small, yellow-green flowers and deeply lobed, green leaves. It prefers moist, shady habitats and is often found in woodlands and meadows.

Cultivation and Propagation

Alchemilla atriuscula can be propagated by seed or division. Sow seed in spring in a cold frame. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in the summer. Division in spring or autumn. Larger divisions can be planted out direct into their permanent positions. We have found it best to pot up the smaller divisions and grow them on in light shade in a cold frame until they are well established before planting them out in late spring or early summer.
