Description
Acaena dumicola (also called Hillside Bidibid, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the rose family, native to New Zealand. It is a low-growing, evergreen shrub growing to 0.2–0.5 m tall, with three-lobed leaves and small, bright red flowers in summer. It grows in open grassland, scrubland, and coastal habitats.

Acaena dumicola has small, yellow flowers with five petals. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and covered in tiny hairs.
