Description

Rhamnus taquetii (also called Chinese buckthorn, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the buckthorn family native to China. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree growing to 5–10 m tall, with a trunk up to 20 cm diameter. The leaves are glossy green, elliptic to ovate, 5–10 cm long and 2–4 cm broad.
