Description
Rhamnus parvifolia (also called Small-leaved Buckthorn, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree with a rounded crown and grey-brown bark. It is native to the south-western Cape in South Africa, and is found in rocky outcrops, sandy flats, and in fynbos.

The flowers of Rhamnus parvifolia are small, yellow-green, and star-shaped. The seeds are small, dark brown, and oval-shaped. The seedlings are slender and have small, oval-shaped leaves.
