Cynodontium laxirete (also called 'Lax Moss' and 'Lax-leaved Moss', among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a small, tufted plant with erect, branched stems and glossy, lax leaves. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as woodlands and alpine meadows.
