Gammiella pterogonioides (also called 'Pterogonioides Hair-cap Moss', among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Funariaceae. It is a small, tufted moss with a conical or cylindrical capsule. It is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, Africa, and Asia, and is found in moist, shady areas such as forests and grasslands.
