Description
Primula spicata (also called 'Spiked Primrose', 'Spiked Primula' and 'Spicata Primrose', among many other common names) is a perennial herb that is native to the Himalayas. It grows up to 30 cm tall and has oval leaves and white or pink flowers. It is found in alpine meadows and grasslands.

The flower of Primula spicata is a pale yellow, with a yellow eye, and has a diameter of 1.5-2 cm. The seed is a small, black, round seed, and the seedlings are small and have a yellowish-green color.

Primula spicata is found in China (Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Xizang), at altitudes of 2000-4000 m.
