Primula sessilis (also called Sessile Primrose, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to the Himalayas. It has a rosette of basal leaves and a single, erect stem with a terminal inflorescence. It is found in montane and subalpine habitats, typically at elevations of 1,500 to 3,500 meters.
