Description
Parathesis vestita (also called 'Tropical Snowberry', among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 10 m tall. It is native to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, and disturbed areas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Parathesis vestita are white and bell-shaped, with five petals. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are small and have a single pair of leaves.
