Description
Parathesis macronema (also called Large-Flowered Parathesis, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 2 m tall. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Himalayas. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests, as well as in moist and dry deciduous forests.

The flowers of Parathesis macronema are small, white, and bell-shaped. The seeds are small, black, and oval-shaped. The seedlings are small and have a single, oval-shaped leaf.
