Description
Maesa parvifolia (also called Small-leaved maesa, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 8 m tall, with a trunk up to 20 cm in diameter. It is native to the Himalayas, China, and Southeast Asia, and is found in tropical and subtropical forests, at elevations of 500-2,000 m.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Maesa parvifolia has small, white flowers that are clustered in the axils of the leaves. The seeds are small, black and shiny. The seedlings have oval-shaped leaves with a pointed tip.
