Description

Cybianthus membranaceus (also called Membranaceous Cybianthus, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Acanthaceae family. It is native to Brazil and is found in moist forests and rocky areas. It is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 1.5 m tall, with opposite leaves that are ovate to lanceolate in shape and have entire margins. The flowers are white and tubular in shape.
