Description
Ardisia brunnescens (also called brownish marlberry, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the primrose family. It is native to tropical Asia, from India to southern China and Indonesia. It is a small shrub, growing to 1–2 m tall, with small, glossy, dark green leaves and clusters of small white flowers in spring, followed by bright red berries in autumn.
