Eriogonum vimineum (also called Basket Buckwheat, among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the western United States, growing in dry, rocky soils in open woodlands and chaparral. It is a low-growing plant, with small, white flowers in the summer, and small, gray-green leaves. It grows in a clump, and can reach up to 1 foot in height.
