Description
Eriogonum galioides (also called Galium-Like Buckwheat, among many other common names) is a low-growing, evergreen shrub with small, white flowers. It is native to the deserts of the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico, and typically grows in sandy, dry soils.

Eriogonum galioides is a species of wild buckwheat known by the common name mountain wild buckwheat. It is native to western North America from British Columbia to California to New Mexico, where it grows in many types of habitats. It is a perennial herb producing a branching, hairy stem up to about 60 centimeters in maximum height. The leaves are variable in shape, sometimes divided into several lobes, and the inflorescence is a cluster of small flowers. The fruit is a small achene.
