Description
Calligonum coriaceum (also called 'Coriaceum Calligonum', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Polygonaceae family. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 4 m tall. It is native to Central Asia, the Caucasus, and northern Iran, and grows in dry, rocky habitats.
