Description
Dacrycarpus dacrydioides (also called mountain kahikatea, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree native to New Zealand. It has a straight trunk with a dense, rounded crown and a reddish-brown bark. The leaves are long and narrow, with a glossy green upper surface and a paler underside. It grows in lowland and montane forests, often in association with other native species.
