Urochloa whiteana (also called Para Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to tropical Africa, Asia, and Australia. It is a tufted grass with erect culms and grows up to 1.5 m tall. It prefers moist habitats and is commonly found in wet savannas, grasslands, and riverbanks.
