Description
Triplasis purpurea (also called Purple Wiregrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the genus Triodia. It is a perennial grass with a tufted habit and has a grey-green colour. It is native to the United States and is found in arid and semi-arid regions, growing in sandy soils.
