Description
Trichoneura eleusinoides (also called Eleusine Lovegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Africa. It typically grows in areas with sandy soils and is found in grasslands, savannas, and dry woodlands.

Trichoneura eleusinoides is used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and diuretic properties. It is also used as a food source, as well as for its ornamental value.
