Description
Tricholaena vestita (also called African Lovegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Africa. It typically grows in areas with sandy soils and is found in grasslands, savannas, and dry woodlands.
Uses & Benefits
Tricholaena vestita is used as a forage grass for livestock and as an ornamental plant in gardens. It is also used in the production of paper and as a soil stabilizer.

Flower: small, white, star-shaped with five petals. Seed: small, black, oval-shaped. Seedlings: small, oval-shaped leaves with pointed tips.
Cultivation and Propagation
