Description
Stipa purpurea (also called Purple Feather Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It has thin, bright green leaves and produces fluffy, silvery-white seed heads in the summer. It typically grows in dry, sunny areas, such as meadows, open woodlands, and roadsides.
