Stipa isoldeae (also called Isolde Needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has thin, narrow, light green leaves and grows in clumps up to 3 feet tall. It is found in dry, sandy soils and is often used as an ornamental grass.
