Description

Stipa himalaica (also called Himalayan feather grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Himalayas. It has thin, bright green leaves and grows in tufts, reaching a height of up to 1.5 feet. It grows in dry, open areas and is drought tolerant.

Stipa himalaica is used for erosion control, as a windbreak, and as an ornamental grass in landscaping.
