Stipa barrancaensis (also called Barranca Needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Mexico. It grows in dry, sandy soils and is characterized by its narrow, needle-like leaves and its tall, slender stems.

Stipa barrancaensis is a perennial grass native to the steppes of Central Asia. It is a low-growing grass with a clumping habit, and is best grown in full sun in well-drained soil.
