Description
Sporobolus spiciformis (also called Spiciformis, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. It grows in sandy soils, and is often found in coastal areas. It has thin, upright stems and narrow, pointed leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cultivation and propagation of Sporobolus spiciformis is best done through seed. The seed should be sown in a well-drained soil in a sunny location. Water regularly and fertilize lightly. Once established, the plant is drought tolerant and requires little maintenance.
