Sporobolus pyramidatus (also called Pyramidal Dropseed, among many other common names) is an annual or perennial grass native to the United States. It is a tufted grass with narrow, flat leaves and a nodding inflorescence. It is found in dry, sandy soils in open woods, prairies, and savannas.
