Description

Sporobolus giganteus (also called Giant Dropseed, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Mediterranean. It grows to a height of 0.6–1.2 m and has a clumping habit. Its leaves are narrow and green, and its flowers are small and green. It prefers dry, sunny habitats and is drought tolerant.
