Description
Sinobambusa baccanensis (also called Baccanensis bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to China and Japan. It is a clumping bamboo with a maximum height of 8 meters and a culm diameter of 2.5 cm. It is found in moist and shady forests, as well as in open grasslands.
Uses & Benefits
Sinobambusa baccanensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. It is also used as a windbreak and for soil erosion control.
