Simplicia buchananii (also called Buchanan's Bamboo, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen, clump-forming bamboo. It has slender, upright culms with green leaves and small, yellowish-green flowers. It is native to China and Japan and can be found in forests, grasslands, and along roadsides.
