Schmidtia kalahariensis (also called 'Kalahari Sedge', 'Kalahari Rush' and 'Kalahari Grass', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant native to Africa. It is a perennial herb, growing up to 1 m tall with leaves up to 10 cm long. It grows in tropical and subtropical climates in both lowland and montane forests.
